YACHT, the word itself comes from the Dutch word “Jacht” and has been used to describe vessels that transport the very important since Charles the II had a vessel outfitted for his return to England from the Netherlands.

Bare Boat Charter 

Basically, there are four ways to charter a boat or a luxury yacht: First, charter a bare-boat without captain or crew. Under this arrangement you and your party will be the captain and crew. Of course, some prior experience will be necessary for your own safety, and you and/or your guests will be required to fill out a form known as a “sailing resume”, take out accident insurance and/or provide a security deposit before the Charter Company turns you loose with their rather expensive piece of equipment. 

Very few people can enjoy the luxury of owning their own yacht. A yacht is an object that many people view as a symbol of when they've made it. If you're planning on making millions at some point in your life the odds are good you're thinking about purchasing a yacht.

In general, yachts cost an exorbitant amount of money. If you're interested in buying new, you will easily spend thousands or possibly millions for it. Top of the line yachts cost more than many people earn in a lifetime. The kind of yachts that the rich and famous own are probably out of our league.
